Getting ready

To ensure the digital template can take place the following criteria needs to be met:

Units must be fixed and leveled to within 5mm as any subsequent movement will invalidate the template.

All end panels and tall panels must be fitted. Also, end panels need to be in place between appliances and sides of Belfast sinks for ideal support of your worktop.

Batten fixed to walls where there are no units to support, for example at the back of appliances and sinks. Distances of over 600 mm should be bridged with support.

Any plastering needs to be complete before the template. Also please fit any boxing to cover pipes so we can make the worktop and upstands to suit them. Please leave to start tiling after the installation of your worktops.

All hobs, range, sinks, taps, pop up sockets and any other accessories must be on site or and product specification available. Please check instructions before the template to make sure they all suit your worktop (example hobs minimum thickness, enough space at the back of taps for levers that go back, etc) if in doubt please ask.

All temporary surfaces and appliances must be removed prior to template appointment.

Maximum unsupported overhangs and joint positions are determined by the material you are choosing will be discussed at the template.

Please allow plenty of time for the template. All final decisions regarding drainer grooves, positions, material, joints, edge profiles, etc are defined at this stage, therefore it's ideal to have the customer on site. In case that is not possible please ensure that who is on site has the authority to make decisions and sign the final agreement for manufacturing on behalf of the customer.

Failure to meet any of the above might result in the template having to be rearranged to another date which could incur extra charges.
